Topic:
Stepping away from the linear flow of life into an exceptional growth mindset. On the day we choose to chase after a dream, there will be inner battles we have to win and overcome. Growth mental, entrepreneurial, personally is a tough energy and emotional intensive task. Whether, we are turning inward to face our dark lurking struggles, addiction, or failures there will be a point of struggle we need to win. Outward distractions, questions, and people who are hurtful to you will be out there lurking for a chance to snatch up those ideas, dreams, and passions like Ravana did to Sita. My goal is to lean into the outer battles between humans and demons. Then inward to focus on the inner battles within the characters of these stories. Next, I will extract the overcoming factors or failing to see what meaning they have for us in the modern world. Sometimes we chase empty opportunities or waste our time in meaningless tasks. Rama chased the fake gold deer in "The Chase". I would love to expand on how many distractions we have now. We all have potential an power within us. Some of us choose to reach in deep and become something. The question is weather we will use our potential. The same decision Rama has as the avatar of Vishnu.

Possible Styles:
Outer struggles:
There are a bunch of outer forces that influences our choices. An example of could be the struggle of finical burden to go to college. We could choose a college depending on the amount of scholarships we receive. Our plan is to go to school because of crafted signals that society accepts from a college degree. In someways, this is changing before our eyes especially in computer science. Udacity offers a nanodegree with the opportunity to get hired at the end. I could look for the outer conflicts Rama has and how he deals with them.
Inner Struggles:
Another struggle is the turmoil within. Weather for Rama, it is him battling to be the model man or us struggling to keep sane during the semester. Inner struggle is a huge factor into our daily success and motivation. Sometimes it has us pinned on the ground and other times we KO it.
Mirror the struggles of the main characters in each epic storyline:
Once we read Mahabharata, I would love to take the main character and compare him against Rama. We can see a mix of inner and outer struggles for both of them. Giving us a diverse look at how they overcome them.
Focus on outcome of either growth or failure:
We can learn a lot from the failures of characters in these epics. This is when they have ample opportunity to learn. We often don't get to fail and learn in an a productive environment in school. That's why we have to find places that allow us to do so. This style would go great with the growth mindset we have going with the class.
