I choose back at the beginning to do the open version. I've enjoyed it thus far however sometimes the varying styles is hard to follow. Probably the biggest impact is the soundcloud recordings. They help me keep track and continue on even I don't get things at first. I then can reread them and go and research further. I do not understand some of the prose. It's hard to follow. I think I would better appreciate it maybe the third time through when I full have a grasp on the storyline. Those would be good for this week when we are reviewing the storylines.
The reading guides are helpful. I would love a better intro into India and the places that it takes about in the story. It would be cool to have a locations introduction post that we do. We could find four different locations in the list and research about them.
I overall enjoyed the readings. Sometimes it's hard to feel comfortable with the amount of information that we are taking in. I like to learn the characters and locations while reading. At first that was easy but once school started it was hard to go as deep as I would have liked.
