Food & Culture

Title: The title for Food & Culture interested me because I loved eating the food specific to Belize and South Africa when I visited. Food is an important part of culture. It brings people together at a table for conversation. We talked and learned a lot about people and their culture cooking and eating with them while we were in Belize. I knew right away what I was going to be reading.

Introduction: This introduction was written with a ton of excitement and enthusiasm. I could tell that the author was genuinely interested with the topic presented. They also had a bunch of personal experience with the topic. The writing was done in a way that was a solid entry into the other posts and set the stage for what spices and recipes would be discussed. I had a firm grasp of what was to come and was excited because I could feel the emotion from the words.

Design: I like the simplicity of the blog with the basic background. I feel that it drew me to the words and the pictures more. I dig that there are pictures of food and the places. The recipe page is awesome. I would like to copy the minimal design.

Weapons of the Gods

Title: With Weapons of the Gods, I was intrigued to read more and see what this was about. I am not familiar with the weapons of the gods. This title let me know exactly what this was going to be about.

Introduction: This was my favorite introduction of all! I was so hooked by the way they talked in the form of the shrine. Each weapon was presented in a different way with a neat background story. The shrine had a personality of it's own that really made you in awe of the weapons.

Design: The pages were straight forward each depicting their respective weapons. I think I want to be straightforward in the navigation as well. There were a few pictures of the weapons. It would have been nice if there was more. Each page layouts an epic insight and story into the weapon as told by the weapon. I really enjoyed the whole writing style.

Lord Rama: The Greatest OU Football Player

Title: I don't know who Lord Rama is but I know a bunch about football. I was also interested to see what they wrote about. I wasn't to sure where they would take this twist but it made me want to click on it.

Introduction: This introduction was extremely creativity. I am not sure how the two tie in yet together. Maybe in the epics they played some sports back then. I thought it was intriguing. I wasn't too sure what the stories would be on but I had an idea they might be a flashback.

Design: The site is simple a clean with stories on the side. There could be better progression or tieing the stories together. I think that it is creative and a cool breakdown of the season.
